This department is responsible for all the activities that CIMEX realizes during the application of non-destructive tests along the phases of manufacturing, construction, and mounting.
a) Supervision and witnessing during testing..
b) Application of non-destructive tests such as:
• X-Ray testing
• Ultrasonic testing
• Penetrant testing
• Magnetic testing
• Vacuum box testing
• Eddy testing
• Visual inspection (using systems of borescope TV).
• Ultrasonic diffraction
• TOFD Technology, used to detect and measure cracks and fissures
c) Final testing of equipment and systems
d) Chemical analysis by means of spectroscopy.
e) Measurement of cracks in materials using ultrasonic diffraction methods
f) Classification of physical defects by means of ultrasonic spectroscopy.
g) Technical assistance
h) Implementation and qualification of welding procedures for equipment manufacturing and fixing.
