CIMEX is a verification unit approved by the Entidad Mexicana de Acreditacion to determine the compliance degree to Mexican Official Norms. The federal dependencies which have a approved us are listed below:

National Water Commission

• Sewage system. Air tightness specifications.
• Domiciliary intake of potable water.
• Building requirements of water wells to prevent contamination.
• Maintenance and rehabilitation requirements for the protection of water wells, requirements for decommissioning.

Mexican Entity of Accreditation / Energy Regulation Commission

• Quality of natural gas.
• Installations for the use of natural gas.
• Natural gas distribution.
• Odorizing of natural gas.
• Transport of natural gas products.
• External corrosion control of underground or underwater steel pipes.
• Compressed natural gas for vehicle use. Safety requirements for service stations.
• Compressed natural gas for vehicle use. Safety requirements in vehicle installations.

Mexican Entity of Accreditation / Work and Social Protection Ministry

• Conditions for the security and hygiene in workplaces where dangerous chemical substances are handled, transported and/or stored.
• System for the identification and communication of danger and risk due to the presence of dangerous substances in the workplace.
• Pressurized vessels and boilers in the workplace, operation and safety conditions.
• Colors and signals for safety, hygiene and identification of risks due to fluids transported inside pipes.

• Storage plants for L.P. gas. Design and construction.
• Installations which use L.P. gas. Design and construction.
• Evaluation of security conditions in equipments which transport, supply, and distribute L.P gas, minimum-security measurements which must be observed during their operation.
• Security conditions of portable recipients used to contain L.P. gas.
• Thickness evaluation through the use of pulse-echo ultrasonic measurement, used to verify operational non-portable recipients that contain L.P. gas.
